Animal experimentation is one of the most hidden of all animal-use industries in Australia, with virtually no transparency or accountability. Secret Government documents made public by the Animal Justice Party have revealed some of the shocking animal experiments still legal here in Australia: ‘near drowning’ of animals and forced smoking experiments.

AUSTRALIA'S MOST SHOCKING ANIMAL EXPERIMENTS: EXPOSED HERE

This is what the Government doesn’t want you to know: they are using your money to pay for some of this animal experimentation. Most people are unaware that taxpayer money is being used to fund the continued breeding and use of animals for experimentation. Despite the use of public funds, the Government doesn’t even know exactly how much money is given to this industry, and there is no transparency about the types of experiments taxpayers are funding.

Australia is a community of animal lovers, and we will never accept cruel, wasteful animal experimentation. That’s why I’m calling on the NSW Government to stop taxpayer money being used to fund animal experimentation. We need to urgently invest in humane alternatives, and stop allowing cruel and often futile experiments on animals.

Join me, and together we have the power to make real change for the millions of animals being used for cruel animal experimentation.
