Convicted animal abusers should not be able to access more victims.
NSW has laws allowing lifetime animal bans, but those finding homes for animals have no way to know when someone is prohibited from having or working with animals.
We need an animal abuse register that alerts the people responsible for animals when a convicted abuser is banned.
Such a register will also help with research, and to identify and safeguard against dangerous criminals who are also involved in domestic violence and child abuse, as there is a strong link between the two.
By signing below, you will be telling the NSW Government we need to create an animal abuse register.
