ABORTION LAW REFORM ACT 2019 CO-SPONSOR THE HON. EMMA HURST MLC "RELIEVED" AS BILL PASSES IN UPPER HOUSE

Animal Justice Party MP the Hon. Emma Hurst MLC and cosponsor of the Abortion Law Reform Act 2019, is celebrating last night’s landmark upper house decision to finally pass the Bill after weeks of heavy debate.

“After hours of heated debate, the House has finally agreed to support the Bill, support women, and bring us back into line with other states. Now let's hope the Lower House supports the Bill as it is, without further amendments.
